The OBL miniature motor controller offers an innovative stacked PCB design that is optimized for a smaller footprint without sacrificing functionality. The OBL is a compact controlller from Nidec Motion Control that supplies an impressive 40A peak current with support for incremental encoders, as well as Hall effect sensors and the option of trapezoidal or sinusoidal commutation. Despite its small size, the OBL is packed with features, such as CANopen support, USB connectivity, PWM support, internal thermal protection, and an external NTC connection.

As part of Nidec's diverse lineup of Ultra Low Voltage motor controllers, the HKBL offers additional flexibility to drive larger motors with up to 60A of continuous output current and 100A of peak output current. The HKBL's ability to utilize trapezoidal or sinusoidal commutation allows the motor controller to be tuned specifically to almost any application. With support for Hall effect sensors, multiple types of encoders, CANopen and EtherCAT, the HKBL is welll-positioned to handle a wide variety of applications.

The FNBL is a powerful BLDC/BPM motor controller with the ability to output 150A peak, and 85A continuous. Reverse polarity protection, internal thermal protection, and an external NTC connection provide multiple safety features to protect your motor and controller. An output for electronic brakes makes this controller particularly well suited to control heavier AGVs, as well as highly demanding robotics applications. CANopen or EtherCAT, as well as USB, a 0-5V signal, and PWM provide plenty of control options for system integration.
